Special Election Endorsements—September 13, 2011

PSC and our state affiliate, New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) are supporting David Weprin for New York’s 9^th Congressional District during the September 13^th Special Election. (See the NY Times Endorsement.) Members who wish to volunteer on the campaign should contact Kate Pfordresher.

Kate can also help coordinate volunteers for PSC-supported candidates in the special elections to the open seats in the New York State Assembly. We are supporting Phillip Goldfeder (AD23), Mike Simanowitz (AD27) and Dan Quart (AD73). They have each also been endorsed by NYSUT and the New York City Central Labor Council.
